MEGADETH Mainman Checks In From The Studio
April 22, 2009MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine has left a new audio update at TheLiveLine.com, a service launched by the guitarist/vocalist that enables musicians to connect to their audience over the phone.
"Great week; we're getting a lot of stuff done," he states about the recording process for MEGADETH's new album. "I was singing on [a new song called] '1320' again today. Did a lot of work on the choruses and Chris [Broderick, MEGADETH guitarist] has been playing his butt off.
"There's one particular song that he was doing an acoustic solo on, a flamenco part, and I told him, 'Dude, you have got to slow down!' [jokingly] He was playing so fast...".
